We’re currently seeking a motivated and dependable HVAC Install Helper to support our install team and grow their career in the HVAC trade.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Install Helper assists lead installers with the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and able to follow directions. The helper ensures job sites are clean, organized, and ready for work, while supporting efficient and safe installations.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and mini-splits
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout each job
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and sheet metal as directed
• Follow instructions from the lead installer and work well as part of a team
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of old equipment or debris
• Communicate job progress or challenges to the lead installer or install manager
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade

• All other duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of HVAC experience (no experience required; training available)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs., work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, and all weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Preferred Skills:

• Basic mechanical or construction experience
• Familiarity with HVAC tools and materials
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders
• Regularly required to work in small, confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
• Must be comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and rooftops
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions depending on job site
• May encounter dust, debris, insulation, and other materials typical of residential and commercial job sites
