At Cattlemens, we believe in more than just serving the Best Steaks in the West—we believe in creating a workplace where you matter, your family matters, and your future matters. We are one of the only family-owned and operated steakhouses in the West, proudly serving hand-cut, Harris Ranch Beef for over five decades. Join a team that values hospitality, teamwork, and work-life balance.

At Cattlemens, we’ve built a legacy of great food, great people, and true Western Hospitality for over 55 years. As a General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind that tradition — leading your team with passion, precision, and professionalism to ensure every guest leaves satisfied and every shift runs smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • As the General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations — balancing hospitality, team development, and financial performance to deliver consistent excellence.
  • Lead, plan, and organize the daily operations of the restaurant with efficiency and care.
  • Coach, train, and develop managers and service staff to uphold Cattlemens’ high standards for quality, hospitality, and professionalism.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that embodies Cattlemens’ values of respect, integrity, and pride.
  • Ensure top-quality food, beverage, and service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations, Main Office, and management team to achieve company goals.
  • Oversee budgets, labor, inventory, and cost control to meet operational and financial targets.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and professional restaurant environments — both inside and out, including property maintenance and landscaping.
  • Implement and enforce company systems as outlined in the Cattlemens Management Procedures Manual.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader in a high-volume, full-service setting.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development skills.
  • Strong food, beverage, and service knowledge with a focus on excellence.
  • Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning.
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Commitment to upholding Cattlemens’ culture of quality and Western Hospitality.

Why Join Cattlemens

  • At Cattlemens, we’re known for industry-low turnover and being a truly great place to work. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in carrying forward our tradition of Western hospitality, quality, and leadership.
  • Legacy of Excellence: Over 55 years of serving great steaks and unforgettable experiences.
  • Growth from Within: Most of our managers are promoted internally—you’ll mentor the next generation of leaders.
  • Real Impact: Every decision you make influences team success, guest satisfaction, and the future of our brand.
