The Tank Farm Operator plays a crucial role in the management and operation of storage facilities for bulk liquids, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of products. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety regulations to prevent spills and accidents. Operators will work closely with other team members to coordinate the loading and unloading of tanks, ensuring that all processes are executed smoothly and efficiently. The ultimate goal is to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is vital in supporting the overall supply chain and logistics operations within the wholesale trade sector.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the wholesale trade industry.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to tank operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in hazardous materials handling.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the flow of liquids in and out of storage tanks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tanks to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, product movements, and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule loading and unloading activities.
