General Summary
Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between CWI Logistics and assigned customer accounts. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day service delivery, building long-term client relationships, resolving issues proactively, and identifying growth opportunities within the account. The ideal candidate combines logistics knowledge with a customer-first mindset and sharp business acumen.---
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serve as the commercial contact for assigned customer accounts
· Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of customer’s business and associated supply chain requirements
· Collaborate with the customer and operations site Managers to ensure contract obligations and customer expectations are met- primary point of contact for the customer
· Develop and ensure necessary metrics/KPI’s are maintained and sustained for all operational aspects of the business
· Facilitate and coordinate quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) with customers
· Support onboarding new business and implementation of customer’s requirements
· Facilitate and maintain CWI’s on-line marketing presence
· Monitor and support the pricing process, cost-model and contract administration functions; assist in collection of past due invoices
· Facilitate the RFI/RFP processes, coordinate solution development & pricing with Operations, and lead contract negotiations
· Analyze both new and existing businesses to generate additional revenue opportunities; identify opportunities to upsell or expand service offerings (value-added services, transportation, etc.)
· Business Intelligence- creation and analysis of customer reports
· Represent the Company at industry trade shows and business events, as required
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development/customer-related role within warehousing, transportation, or 3PL
· Knowledge of supply chain operations, WMS/TMS systems, and logistics KPIs
· Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and common reporting tools
· Demonstrated work ethic, customer-facing skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and vendors at all levels
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, required
· Professional presentation, proposal, and contract preparation skills
· Collaborative nature with cross-functional teams and ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
· Willingness to travel as needed

· Ability to successfully perform the essential job functions including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
· Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
