We are HIRING a CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE | LEAD ROLE

FULL TIME and PART TIME (DAYS, Med Aides Only/EVE/OVERNIGHT shifts)

Salary Information

$17.00 - $20.00 Hourly Wage

Requirements

Primary Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Lead Role also responsible for managing staff on shift ensuring responsibilities and duties are completed and ensuring resident care needs are met.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide emotional support
  • Administer medications to residents following the prescribed dosage and schedule
  • Monitor and record residents' vital signs and reactions to medications
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Stay updated on medication administration best practices and participate in ongoing training
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Additional Universal Worker tasks such as kitchen duties, basic housekeeping, delivering resident mail and as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), minimum 1 year
  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA), minimum 1 year
  • 2yr + Experience and passion working with Alzheimer’s & dementia care residents
  • Knowledge of EHR systems and medical documentation
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
  • Experience in lead shift roles in assisted living environment.
  • Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with family members, staff and visitors
