About this position
Local family owned Oil & Propane Company looking for a Customer Service Representative to help the business develop strong relationships with their clients and customers.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Provides customers with courteous and professional customer service in person or over the phone in a fast paced work environment.
- Provides account information to customers including but not limited to account balances, history, payments.
- Data Entry.
- Assists customers in the reconciliation of their accounts.
- Provides timely resolution of customer concerns and inquiries.
- Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers
- by listening to their needs.
- Processes customer transactions and ensures all necessary information is in place prior to completing the transaction.
- Opens new accounts
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task.
