About this position

Local family owned Oil & Propane Company looking for a Customer Service Representative to help the business develop strong relationships with their clients and customers.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Provides customers with courteous and professional customer service in person or over the phone in a fast paced work environment.
  • Provides account information to customers including but not limited to account balances, history, payments.
  • Data Entry.
  • Assists customers in the reconciliation of their accounts.
  • Provides timely resolution of customer concerns and inquiries.
  • Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers
  • by listening to their needs.
  • Processes customer transactions and ensures all necessary information is in place prior to completing the transaction.
  • Opens new accounts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
