About this position

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
  • Take measurements of various part specifications and record the results
  • Analyze results to ensure production is meeting quality specifications
  • Inspect individual part surfaces for defects
  • Tag and quarantine parts that have significant quality issues to ensure rework gets performed
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of QA experience preferred
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • Product or industry-specific experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
  • Experience with micrometers and other quality lab tools
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

  • Hourly rate range from $15/hr - $20/hr
