Position: Quality Control Inspector (1st Shift) 

Location: Berlin, CT (on-site)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm

Compensation:  Negotiable based on experience/fair market value

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Associate/Inspector with experience in the Plastic Injection Molding industry, to join our Berlin, CT plant.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform      inspections using appropriate measuring instruments for incoming material,      first piece, in-process, and completed parts.
  • Ensure team of      associates are provided all necessary training, documents and tools to      complete the quality duties.
  • Approve      products for shipment, complying with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Assist in the Investigation      of non-conformance/complaints from customers by identifying root causes      and implementing corrective actions.
  • Organize all      quality documentation and prepare/submit quality reports showing      performance versus objectives.


Requirements:

 Requirements:

  • Three plus (3+)      years' experience in a Quality Engineer or Quality Technician role, within      the PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING INDUSTRY.
  • Ability to      effectively communicate with a team, with a three (3) shift operation.
  • Good working      knowledge of quality systems, principles and practices.
  • Prior      experience with quality equipment (CMM, MicroVu, calipers, micrometers,      etc.)
  • Experience with      ISO 9001 and 13845, as well as with ISO audits.
  • Experience      using an IQMS (or other ERP System)
