Based in Woodinville, WA, SkoFlo Industries is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of chemical injection valves for the offshore petroleum industry. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our innovative and accomplished team.

The Field Service Technician is responsible for disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of a variety of SkoFlo Chemical Injection Metering Valves and other devices both onshore and offshore. This position involves work and travel across the globe.

Responsibilities included:

  • Perform pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, and assembly on various types of direct and/or remote operated Chemical Injection Metering Valves and other Devices in a field setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret various part drawings, customer specifications and valve assembly and maintenance instructions.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Delivers technical support, coaching and direction to end users and field labor when applicable.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Ensure all testing of repaired or modified product is carried out in accordance with documented FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
  • Use of standard and special tools and test equipment such as: volt-ohmmeter, oscilloscope, and digital multimeter to test and analyze subsea valve products.
  • Maintain test equipment in good, safe operating condition and repair as needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • An understanding of electrical, hydraulics, inspections, PC and some software knowledge is required.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 facility a plus.


Salary Information

$30.0 - $40.0 Hourly Wage
