About the Role
The Data Engineer will be part of JobTarget's Data Infrastructure team. The Data Infrastructure team ingests, processes, and provides automation around data in the AWS Cloud. You, as the AWS Data Engineer, will collaborate with many other teams to design and implement systems to maintain and improve the quality of JobTarget's data and products. This is an FTE role.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert level system analysis design, development and implementation of applications using AWS services (specifically using Python)
- Design and develop real-time data pipelines
- Write appropriate unit tests and perform unit testing to ensure requirements are fulfilled
- Ensure deliverables and optimized/scalable in order to meet performance requirements
Required Skills
- Strong AWS cloud computing experience
- In-dept experience working with data in AWS, specifically reading data from external sources
- Experience with writing code in Python and using PysSpark API
- Experience working with SQL, Amazon Athena, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda
