As a Data Entry Technician, you’ll be a vital part of the prescription fulfillment process, working behind the scenes to ensure every order is accurate, timely, and handled with care. Please note this is a FULL-TIME, ON-SITE role. 

In this role, you’ll communicate directly with physician offices and patients, process prescriptions and payments, and support a smooth handoff to pharmacists and production. It’s a great opportunity to gain real-world pharmacy experience and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

• Process Prescription Orders
  Enter orders quickly and accurately to keep production flowing.
   
• Verify Patient Info & Payments
  Confirm billing, shipping, and insurance details with patients and providers.
   
• Be a Communication Pro
  Respond to calls, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to the right team.
   
• Handle Payments & Expectations
  Explain payment requirements and help patients understand next steps.
   
• Manage Medication Refills
  Oversee the SweetSync refill synchronization program for better patient outcomes.
   
• Support Across the Pharmacy
  Pitch in at the retail counter, lab, or cashier station as needed.
   
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance
  Handle all patient data with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
   

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years related experience 
• State Pharmacy Technician Registration required
• CPhT State Certification Required
• Independent Pharmacy preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to ensure accuracy of entering patient information
• Pleasant demeanor and ability to handle a variety of customer service issues.
• Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
• Pharmacy Software – Pioneer a plus
• Ability to learn new software and programs (SweetSync)
• Ability to be coached
