About this position
This role is responsible for overseeing on-site flooring project preparation and execution to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. Duties include conducting pre-site and substrate reviews, completing checklists, and coordinating material logistics. The position requires reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking schedules, forecasting labor and material needs, and communicating updates to project managers and installers. The role also involves evaluating installer performance, enforcing OSHA safety standards, leading toolbox talks, and ensuring proper PPE use. Additionally, the position manages punch list closeouts, quality control walkthroughs, and accurate documentation of extra work and change orders. The ultimate goal is to deliver projects with no punch closeouts while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in an industry-specific role is advantageous.
- Proven experience in supervising field operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- The ability to work in different environmental conditions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Sound knowledge of contract terms and pricing.
