Receiver

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receiver to join our team! Tailwind is a rapidly growing company known for its commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional dining and retail experiences to all travelers. As a Receiver, you will play a critical role in supporting warehouse and supply chain operations by accurately receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments. You will work closely with purchasing, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure products meet quality and quantity standards and are properly recorded and stored. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders. 
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues as needed. 
• Accurately record received items in inventory management systems. 
• Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse areas. 
• Assist with unloading trucks and safely handling materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. 
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and shipping teams to support timely distribution of goods. 
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the receiving area. 
• Complete and maintain receiving documentation and reports. 
• Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and airport requirements for material handling. 
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and process information quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work conditions.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs).

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check and TSA screening to obtain an airport badge. 
• Reliable transportation and punctuality. 
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. 
• Adherence to Tailwind policies, procedures, and safety standards. 
• Commitment to maintaining a professional work environment and representing Tailwind positively.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. 
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
