Location: City Springs Campus (including Sandy Springs Performing Arts & Conference Center and Heritage Park)

We’re seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to serve as the on-site liaison and trusted partner for clients, vendors, patrons, and internal teams—ensuring every event on the City Springs campus runs seamlessly.

What You’ll Do

As the on-site representative during events, you’ll be the calm, capable presence that keeps everything on track.

Event Leadership & Execution

  • Serve as the official Create City Springs representative during events, ensuring policy compliance and quality execution.

  • Lead and oversee event logistics, including load-in and load-out for clients and vendors.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as technical, operations, and security teams.

  • Support Sales Managers on event days to deliver high-level customer service.

  • Lead execution of corporate and social events across multiple rented spaces.

Planning & Documentation

  • Prepare and manage event documents including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and reports (training provided).

  • Track parking validation usage and related event data.

  • Document client concerns, lost items, and emergency responses for reporting purposes.

Client Support & Problem Solving

  • Troubleshoot minor technology issues and assist clients with basic event production needs.

  • Maintain high standards of client and patron satisfaction through hands-on support.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to unexpected challenges during live events.

What You Bring

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work up to, but no more than, 29 hours per week

  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Preferred

  • Currently pursuing or completed a college degree

  • Experience in event management, hospitality, or customer service

  • Background in performing arts, theatre production, or cultural programming

Skills & Strengths

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Strong communication—both written and verbal

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in high-energy environments

  • Comfortable interpreting safety and procedural guidelines

  • Basic math and reporting skills

  • Familiarity with floor plans, BEOs, or event production technology (a plus)
