Position Overview
- This role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers and dealers in a defined territory.
- Collaborate with the Sales Territory Manager to grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
Essential Job Functions
- Act as the primary contact for dealer and customer accounts (phone, email).
- Assist Territory Sales Manager with quoting, tracking, and follow-up on sales opportunities.
- Create and maintain sales materials (presentations, brochures, etc.).
- Manage order entry for the Sales Territory Manager.
- Coordinate with Shipping to ensure on-time delivery and pick-up.
- Identify efficient shipment methods, considering cost and timing.
- Manage a high volume of simultaneous customer inquiries across phone and email, prioritizing urgency while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Balance multiple open orders, quotes, and customer issues concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, supply chain disruptions, or urgent customer escalations without compromising service quality.
- Resolve customer issues by investigating concerns and proposing solutions.
- Stay informed on product updates and enhancements.
- Prepare weekly sales reports for the territory.
- Invoice accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Uphold professional standards, representing the company with tact and diplomacy.
- Utilize HubSpot daily for account, quote, and lead management.
- Align with company mission, values, and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Associate's degree or 5+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or business administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple tasks or accounts simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
- Proven ability to build strong dealer and customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
