Groundskeeper

Summary: Professional groundskeeper to perform a variety of ground cleaning and light landscaping duties. The groundskeeper will oversee maintaining all outdoor property spaces to employer standards. Duties will include, however not limited to; trash, dog waste, salt/sand, plants, spiderwebs, weeds, trashcan and general landscaping. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Following daily schedules, responding to timely emergencies.
•  Maintaining the property at a high level of presentation.
• Clean all grounds and high frequency spaces.
•  Performs general grounds cleaning of entire campus, to include however not limited to curbs, parking lots, garages, walking paths, green spaces and turf.
• Using ground equipment; golf cart, tow carts, trimmers, blowers and hand tools.
•  Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
• Inspect for safety all signage, sidewalks and exterior entrances.
• Maintaining and upkeep of all ground equipment, supplies, and products.
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care for products and equipment.
• Keeping all public spaces clean and tidy.
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.

• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team.
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines, excellent time management skills.

• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Preferred High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift to 25 to 30 pounds.
• General knowledge of landscaping equipment, supplies, and techniques for grounds.
• Previous experience of cleaning is preferred; training will be provided.

• Pay range: $23.00-$25.00/hour
• Monday through Friday 
• 40 hours weekly
