About this position
Sportsman Boats is looking for a Powdercoat Technician that have experience in powder coating, chemical treatment, and an eye for detail. WE HAVE BRAND NEW EQUIPMENT and an AIR CONDITIONED facility.
What you will do:
- Mid level knowledge of the powder coat process
- Be able to follow paint flow
- Ability to powder coat aluminum small parts, t-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, and frames
- Determine viscosity
- Clean and maintain powder coat equipment
- Identify quality defects and participate in the continuous improvement process
- Ability to set and follow production schedule
- A positive attitude!
What you will know of have done:
- 1-5 years powder coating experience
- Experience with color changes between white to black and black to white
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, climb ladder, stretch, and lift for 8-10 hours a day.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills
- Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure to meet production rate
