Estimator – Collision Repair


We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Collision Repair Estimator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

- Complete full estimates in CCC for customer pay and insurance repairs

- Complete accurate event dates on insurance repairs

- Utilize OPStrax to generate accurate and comprehensive estimates

- Understand and adhere to insurance company parts requirements and use of advisor reports

- Call/email vendors to confirm parts availability and part numbers as needed

- Take accurate photos for preliminary estimates and supplements

- Explain repair techniques, calibration, and scan requirements to customers in detail

- Research repair procedures to ensure accurate and efficient repairs

- Answer phones and update customers on repair status and estimates

- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all estimates and communications


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience with OPStrax estimating software is required

- Knowledge of Mitchell estimating system is a plus but not mandatory

- Parts Trader knowledge is a plus but not required

- Previous work as a technician is a plus but not required

- Strong understanding of insurance company parts requirements and advisor reports

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to accurately photograph vehicle damage and repair progress

- Strong research skills to determine repair procedures

- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor

- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and meet deadlines

- Help assist in cleaning vehicles as needed to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience

CCC estimating experience mandatory

OPS Trax experience

Detail oriented notations and photograph experience

AllData repair procedure research experience

Excellent communication skills/detailed communications with customers

Mitchell experience is a plus

Parts trader experience is a plus

Previous technician work experience is a plus
