Acura of Peabody, part of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is searching for an individual to join our diverse team as a full time Parts Advisor.  Our ideal candidate will be positive, friendly, and passionate about providing exceptional customer care to our clients.  In return, you will be part of a company that provides our people with support, career advancement opportunities and great benefits!


Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and alternating Saturdays 7am-5pm

Estimated Annual Salary Range: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 base + bi-weekly commission


What you will do:

* Looking up parts for service technicians, service advisors and sales advisors
* Helping retail customers over the phone, retail parts counter and also email/ parts websites
* Taking phone orders from wholesale parts customers
* Receiving parts from factory and outside vendors, unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves when needed
* Stocking accessory displays and cleaning them when necessary
* Processing Warranty parts and returning them to factory when needed
* Scrapping Warranty parts not needed for returns 

* Backup for delivery drivers as needed
* Shipping out parts orders with local drivers, UPS, FedEx and LTL freight carriers
* Pulling and shipping back manufacture returns
* Perpetual inventory

* Other tasks assigned by the management team

Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years old 
  • Valid driver's license in good standings with clean driving record 
  • Fluency in English & Spanish 


Our ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

  • Automotive dealership parts or technician experience, preferred
  • Strong communication skills including professional phone etiquette 
  • Intermediate computer skills including Excel 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently; dependable 
  • Self-motivated and results driven with a positive team-player attitude
  • Must enjoy challenges and interacting with a variety of people and situations
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • DealerTrack knowledge is a plus but not required. Will train
  • Prior Hazardous shipping experience is a plus but not required. Will train
  • Experienced online sales a plus
