About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join a high-performing team supporting a consolidated SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. In this role, you will partner with business and technical stakeholders to analyze current-state SAP ECC EWM processes and architect the future-state design within an SAP S/4HANA environment. 

You will serve as a lead configurator and trusted advisor, guiding business process re-engineering efforts and ensuring best practices are implemented across the EWM landscape.

What You'll Do 

Analyze existing SAP EWM-related business processes and configurations in SAP ECC. Support Business Process Reengineering (BPR) workshops to define and architect optimize EWM processes for SAP S/4HANA. Research and apply SAP best practices for business process implementation within S/4HANA. Configure end-to-end EWM capabilities in SAP S/4HANA IMG based on approved requirements. Demonstrate system configurations to business stakeholders and provide recommendations for the future-state (“to-be”) environment. Document configuration activities, process flows, and system design decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration between S/4 Core and EWM. Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex configuration and integration issues. 

 

Job Requirements 

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance (due to hiring timelines, new clearance sponsorships are not available for this role) 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 

Experience: 

10+ years of relevant SAP experience. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience with deep functional expertise. At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations as a lead configurator for SAP EWM, including at least 1 S/4HANA implementation. Strong, hands-on experience in configuring SAP EWM processes in SAP IMG and integration of S/4 Core with EWM Demonstrated ability to analyze, configure, test, and implement SAP-based business solutions. Strong experience across the following EWM functional areas: Inbound, Pick/Pack/Pass, Serial Number Management, Batch Management.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP EWM. Experience planning and leading SAP EWM related requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and functional POCs Strong experience in any of the following EWM functional areas: VAS, RF, Quality Inspection, Handling Units, Transportation Unit, Yard Management, Replenishment, Adv Production Integration, and Dock Appointment Scheduling. Experience working within Agile software development methodologies. Strong abstract reasoning and creative problem-solving abilities. Experience contributing to cross-functional teams in remote project environments.

The pay range for this role is:100 - 110 USD per hour(Remote)
