Program: Valley EPIC - Residential Treatment

Pay: Range starts at $24.50/hour (pay is calculated based on years of licensed experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm

Job Summary & Deliverables

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) works with clients individually and in group settings and teaches skills on behavior modification with the goal of full recovery.


Essential Functions

  • Manages caseload including care plan and ASAM management
  • Teaches groups and individual sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and behavior modification with the intention of full sobriety
  • Collaborates with a team of multi-disciplinary mental health professionals
  • Mentors clients who are in an intensive residential treatment program for substance abuse and mental health disorders
  • Provides positive role-modeling and teaches social/behavioral skills
  • Tracks and maintains client data


Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work

Experience

  • None - see Preferred Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications

  • SUDC license in state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Valley de-escalation certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work
