The core responsibilities of this role include: Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk, conduct training for new associates, assist in physical inventories. monitor performance of associates within the work group. report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected. communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required. Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.
Position:First (1st) Shift Inventory Control
Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, monday - Friday
Pay: $22.00 + $1.00 refrigeration differential
Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly performance and safety incentive bonuses!
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: A minimum of 6 months’ experience operating Stand Up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a Stand Up and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit down, Clamp, and Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus. A minimum of 6 month’s experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped
Assigns work schedules, trains associates in processes and monitor's associates' progress
Key Accountabilities:

- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
- Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months warehousing and inventory experience
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory system
