The HR Generalist provides broad human resources support across the employee lifecycle, helping to build a positive and inclusive workplace. This role serves as a trusted partner to leaders and employees by supporting day‑to‑day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy administration, and compliance. The HR Generalist plays a hands‑on role in supporting HR programs, maintaining accurate employee records, and coordinating training and development initiatives. With strong communication and a focus on the employee experience, the HR Generalist ensures consistent, fair, and compliant HR practices that strengthen engagement and support organizational success.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, interviewing, and conducting background checks.Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead orientation for new hires to ensure a seamless transition and conduct exit interviews to gather actionable feedback.Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns; facilitate resolutions to workplace conflicts and conduct internal investigations when necessary.Benefits & Payroll: Manage open enrollment, and coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate compensation and leave tracking (FMLA, PTO).Compliance: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law (FLSA, ADA, EEO) to ensure the company remains compliant.Performance Management: Assist managers with the annual review process, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and professional development initiatives.Programs & Engagement: Participate in HR projects focused on engagement, recognition, DEI, and continuous improvement.  Help organize employee events, communications, and culture‑building activities.

Qualifications 

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HR roles (Generalist experience preferred).Certifications: Professional certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred.Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.Ethics: A proven track record of maintaining strict confidentiality and professional integrity.
