Maintain a caseload of students with disabilities in need of individualized support services.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">2. Meet with deaf and hard of hearing students regarding academic accommodations</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">3. Review medical documentation to process accommodation requests</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">4. Interview and evaluate new students to determine barriers caused by the documented disability and scope of accommodation necessary in individual cases.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">5. Conduct student/parent intake interviews to determine accommodation needs.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">6. Provides personal, academic, vocational, and social counseling for students with disabilities.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">7. Maintain accurate records in a confidential manner in keeping with FERPA and ADA requirements.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">8. Serves as informational resource to staff and faculty in regard to accommodations and modifications needed for students with disabilities.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">9. Provide ongoing coaching and accessibility services to individual students with disabilities.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">10. Develops and maintains contacts with campus and community groups whose resources can be utilized.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">11 Collaborate with Academic Affairs to facilitate student accommodation plans.</font></p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><font size="3">12. Consult with faculty and staff regarding individual students, and collaborate with them to provide ongoing support and accountability</font></p>
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;">Requires a broad or in-depth body of knowledge as would normally be acquired through attainment of a Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related filed and one year of Counseling experience.</span>
