DFW Medical Clinic in Irving, TX is looking for a PRN Nurse practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team.

Clinic candidates must currently reside in the DFW area.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and managing both acute and chronic conditions via telemedicine, as well as traditional in person care. This per diem opportunity is ideal for experienced FNPs / PAs with flexible availability, who are comfortable stepping in during high-volume times, staff PTO, or coverage gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients of all ages via telemedicine, as well as traditional in person care.

  • Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, preventive care, and health screenings.

  • Perform in-office procedures as appropriate to training and scope.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR).

  • Collaborate with clinic leadership and staff to ensure excellent patient care and workflow efficiency.

  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.

  • Comply with all clinical, regulatory, and quality standards required by state and federal guidelines.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: PRN (Per Diem, as-needed basis)

  • Schedule: Variable; coverage requested during peak hours, weekends, or when coverage is needed

  • Hourly Rate: $60/hour

  • Work Location: in-clinic

  • Start Date: As soon as onboarding and credentialing are completed

Requirements:

  • Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (active and unrestricted)

  • New graduates and entry level are welcome

  • Strong computer skills

  • Must have wide availability, including weekends

  • Comfortable working independently and providing high-quality virtual care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients remotely through our telemedicine platform

  • Conduct virtual visits across a range of primary and urgent care concerns

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in EMR

  • Deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced telehealth environment

  • Derm experience is a plus but not required

Please Note:

  • This is a PRN role, not a full-time position

  • Providers will be contacted to fill in during high demand, scheduled PTO, or other coverage needs

  • Candidates must be available to respond quickly and work scheduled shifts when confirmed.
