Speciality Surg Tech - Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedics:
We have room to grow for an additional Specialty Surgical Technologist!
Shift: 8 hour shifts (6:45a-3:15p)
Surgical Services: Orthopedics - trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation & replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle
As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO, the SPECIALTY SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test), American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification, Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist - already obtained.
