Summary:

In addition to their regular tasks and duties, a Manager On Duty's (MOD)’s role is to oversee Store operations ensuring a premium Guest experience, efficient workflows, and outstanding workforce performance. An MOD evaluates and delegates tasks among Team Members, arranges schedules, sets goals, handles problems and concerns, and imposes disciplinary actions. An MOD also performs clerical tasks such as producing progress reports, maintaining inventory of goods and supplies, reporting to supervisors, coordinating with other Managers, and implementing the company's policies and standards. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the MOD provides oversight of and assistance with the ongoing activities of the Lassens Team. This may be in the absence of, or in conjunction with, any other MOD’s who are on duty at the time. The MOD is responsible for ensuring the Team and Guests have a safe, clean and pleasant environment in which to work and shop. An MOD may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food supplements, and health and beauty aids.

A Team Member who demonstrates exceptional leadership and the ability to handle added responsibility may be promoted to  the additional responsibility of MOD.
