Service Technician
U.S. Shoring & Equipment – Euless, TX
U.S. Shoring & Equipment (USS), a division of Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS), is looking for a Shop Technician to join its team at our Euless, TX location. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing various types of equipment lines including Barbco, Wacker-Neuson, Ledwell, vacuum trailers, trench shoring equipment and other specialty rental assets. You will also be trained as an Auger Boring Equipment Service Technician supporting customers nationwide.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect, maintain, and repair rental equipment to make it rent-ready
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Work on auger boring machines as well as other product lines as needed
• Assist with equipment diagnostics and failure analysis
• Learn Barbco systems with the goal of supporting field service calls
• Occasionally travel, including overnight stays
• Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with supervisors and customers
• Help estimate repair scope, labor, and parts
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Accept advanced and continued training on represented manufacturers.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications/Skills
• Experience servicing utility construction equipment
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on various equipment.
• Diesel laptop or other electronic diagnostic equipment experience
• Knowledge of horizontal/directional boring machines and ability to work on tier 3 and tier 4 engines
• Electric and gas welding experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record is mandatory
• CDL license preferred
• Basic computer skills for recording work performed.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
· Push/pull up to 50 lbs
· Lift/carry up to 60 lbs
· Lift bulky objects
· Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, high steps, fingering/grasping.
· Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
