Join Our Team as a Production Associate II

At Van Beek Natural Science in Orange City, IA, we are dedicated to providing natural solutions that promote the health and well-being of animals. We seek a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Associate II to help support our mission.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Assist with the formulation and packaging of natural animal health products
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow written instructions

Education, Reasoning Ability & Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED is required. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license.  
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.  
• A willingness to become forklift certified is required.  
• Experience with Lock-out-tag-out is preferred but not required.  
• Experience in manufacturing feed, food, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.  

Communication and Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.  
• Ability to work with a partner in a team setting or individually.
