INTRODUCTION: This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.


SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK: Performs all duties related to incoming and outgoing of goods and materials and Order Picking. Verifies that all incoming shipments are properly labeled, for distribution. Verifies that outbound materials and products are correct, and properly labeled as per packing slip.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) General warehouse duties including UPS packing and receiving shipments.

b) Overseeing data entry of new inventory.

c) Process shipping/receiving using SAP.

d) Inspection checks of all outgoing parts for quality, labeling and packaging as per the packing slip/pick tickets.

e) Order picking for all Z Kommi and KanBan orders daily 

f) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

g) Perform incoming receiving inspections per SAP inspection Plans

h) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

i) Proficiently perform product layouts using granite surface, calipers, height gage, micrometers, indicators, protractors, hardness tester and other measurement tools

j) Conveys information pertaining to found nonconforming product to supplier, quality engineer and/or Warehouse Manager as appropriate so that corrective measures may be taken

k) Containment of non-conforming materials (reject tags, quarantine, SAP inventory adjustments, and all related

l) Understanding of unit systems and conversions

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS: 

a) 1-2 years previous shipping and receiving experience.

b) Previous inspection experience.

c) Basic math skills as defined by company standards.

d) Able to read and write legible as defined by company standards.

e) Understanding of Basic Processes.

f) Ability to obtain a forklift license.

g) Ability to gain knowledge of company products, company quality and company safety procedures.

h) Solid working knowledge and working experience in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook

i) Proficient in shop math, including measurements, fractions, decimals, and basic geometry

j) Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints with GD&T


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is generally performed in a production plant warehouse setting.

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift or move objects of 51 pounds or less with or without assistance.
