About the Role

The Customer Service Shipping Coordinator supports order processing from receipt through shipment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Sales, Production, and Shipping and provides administrative and front office support in a manufacturing environment.


What You Get to Do

Customer Service & Order Processing

  • Review customer orders and match purchase orders to quotes
  • Verify billing/shipping details, ship method, account numbers, and terms
  • Process order changes, returns, and exchanges
  • Maintain accurate customer records and shipping preferences
  • Coordinate with Production and Shipping to meet customer requirements
  • Maintain shipping logs and update CRM system (Monday.com)

Shipping, Receiving & Compliance

  • Receive and log incoming shipments
  • Package and ship outgoing orders
  • Track dock dates and shipment status
  • Prepare international shipping documents (AES/SLI)
  • Maintain ITAR licensing and inventory logs
  • Work with freight carriers and maintain safe, organized shipping areas

Office Administration

  • Greet visitors, manage visitor logs, and support office safety procedures
  • Answer phones, route calls, and respond to inquiries
  • Sort mail/packages and maintain office supply inventory
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing and data entry

About You

  • Customer service and administrative experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
