Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Position provides assembly support and preparation for the manufacturing process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Occasional walking, twisting/turning, stooping/bending, pushing/pulling (30lbs/10% of the time), squatting, reaching above the shoulder.
- Frequent standing, repetitive hand/wrist movement, forearm rotation.
- Frequent awkward manouvering of 6’ – 8’ long steel bars.
- Lifting up to 20lbs up to 33% of the time; above the shoulder up to 33% of the time.
- Carry up to 50lbs up to 33% of the time.
- Basic mechanical/electrical assembly
- Assemble robots for the molding industry
- Secure Bearing Rails to Beams
- Routing of cables and air lines and tying them off
- Mounting motors, gear boxes and pneumatic components
- Set belt tension with meter
- Servo Axis assembly
- Drilling and tapping for custom options
OTHER DUTIES
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical and electrical experience/aptitude. Knowledge of hand tools. Self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Experience in similar position desirable.
2-3 years mechanical assembly experience a plus. Electrical experience a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Candidate must be able to work effectively on their own and as a team player. Keen eye for detail. Familiarity with a large variety of tools. Mechanical do-it-yourselfer.
Salary Information
$17.65 - $24.00
