This position has typical work hours Monday – Friday from 6:30AM – 5:00PM
Job Summary:
Family owned and operated tire distribution facility seeks delivery driver/warehouse associate. Duties include (but are not limited to) unloading and loading trucks, driving box trucks/vans to deliver merchandise to customers, collecting payment at time of delivery, interacting with customers, forklift use, pulling orders and putting away stock, general clean up and organization, etc. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, have driver’s license and clean driving record, applicants must be able to lift/handle tires weighing ~125lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environment. Applicants must be somewhat flexible and team players as the job responsibilities may shift slightly from day to day. A background check and drug test are required.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager and/or Store Manager in shipping and receiving customer tires
- Load, unload, stack and lift tires
- Use of certain warehouse equipment, including forklift operation
- Retain forklift certification
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of commercial warehouse experience
- Valid Forklift certification (onsite training certification available)
- Knowledge of commercial tire products and services
- Valid Driver’s License

Required Physical Abilities:
Physical requirements of this position may require a range of activities. These can include, but are not limited to:
- Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly.
- Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time
- Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position.
- Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities.
- Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely.
Work Environment:
This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potential confined spaces.
