Position: Seasonal Basketball Program Staff
Salary: $15/hour

About the Township
Exeter Township is a vibrant community located in southeastern Berks County, Pennsylvania, approximately 6 miles east of Reading. With a population of around 25,500, it is the third-most populous municipality in the county. Covering roughly 24 square miles, the Township offers a mix of suburban neighborhoods, historical landmarks, and scenic natural areas.
Program Overview
The Basketball Program runs for six (6) weeks, June 15, 2026 to July 23, 2026, Monday through Thursday, 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Pineland Park. Program may be extended due to weather conditions.
Position Overview
Assist with practices, drills, gameplay, and team organization.
Coordinate playoff games and support daily operations.
Supervise players, enforce safety standards, and maintain equipment and courts.
Model professionalism and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Experience working with school aged children preferred.
General knowledge of sports.
