Executive Assistant to the Managing Principal
Location: On-Site | Reno, NV
Compensation: $90,000 -115,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Extended hours during busy tax seasons, including availability for remote or in-office Saturdays (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to our Owner and Managing Principal, supporting both strategic priorities and day-to-day execution from our Reno office.
Position Overview
This is a high-impact, on-site Executive Assistant role designed to support a fast-moving Managing Principal. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, discreet, and confident in exercising judgment. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support — it requires anticipation, prioritization, follow-through, and the ability to act as an operational extension of executive leadership.
The Executive Assistant will primarily support the Managing Principal and, as directed, provide limited administrative support to the Operations Director. The role offers exposure to multiple areas of the business, including operations, finance, HR, technology, and leadership coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Prioritization
- Act as a gatekeeper for the Managing Principal’s time, prioritizing requests and managing competing demands
- Anticipate needs, identify potential issues, and proactively address them
- Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups resulting from meetings and conversations
- Ensure commitments made by or to the Managing Principal are followed through in a timely manner
- Serve as a trusted liaison between leadership, staff, clients, and external partners
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage executive calendars, meetings, and scheduling with a strategic lens
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and discretion
- Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation
- Ensure the Managing Principal has the resources and information needed to operate efficiently
Client & Internal Communication
- Serve as a point of contact between executives and clients when appropriate
- Coordinate client meetings and logistics
- Assist with internal communication and cross-department coordination
Office & Operations Support
- Support day-to-day office operations in the Reno office
- Monitor office supply inventory and equipment needs
- Assist with vendor coordination and special projects as needed
Financial & Administrative Assistance
- Assist with billing, invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting
- Prepare summaries, reports, and documentation as requested
Technology & Equipment Coordination
- Ensure executives have functional equipment and tools
- Coordinate with IT on hardware and software needs
- Assist with setup and onboarding of new leadership technology
Event & Travel Coordination
- Coordinate travel arrangements for executives and leadership
- Assist with internal meetings, trainings, and event logistics
Human Resources & Team Support
- Assist with onboarding coordination and team cohesiveness initiatives
- Support documentation, policies, and procedures as requested
Confidentiality & Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Support document retention and compliance requirements
- Adhere to firm policies and professional standards at all times

Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or senior administrative professional, preferably in a professional services environment
- Proven ability to support executive-level leaders who move quickly and manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Strong judgment and confidence making decisions independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
- Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and remain composed in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
- Interest or experience in operations, HR, finance, or marketing is a plus
