Responsibilities
As a Deburr Specialist, you’ll contribute to the success of ARMI Manufacturing by:
Operating and becoming familiar with all equipment required to perform deburring processes.
Ensuring all components are free of sharp edges and burrs to meet safety and quality standards.
Handling materials carefully to avoid scratches or other damage.
Assisting Laser Operators, Press Brake Operators, and Raw Material Specialists as needed.
Supporting maintenance and cleaning of machines in the Cutting and Forming cell.
Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
Organizing consumable cabinets, punches, and dies.
Cross-training when opportunities arise to grow skills.
Entering time accurately in CounterPart daily.
Lifting 50+ lbs. consecutively and standing on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
Preparing and staging materials for the next day’s work.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Material Optimization
Preventing damage to materials by careful handling.
Using tape or protective coverings to avoid scratches.
Deburring parts according to specifications.
Continuous Improvement
Looking for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Submitting at least two improvement ideas per quarter to the Leader of Cutting and Forming.
Requirements
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work well in a team setting and assist multiple departments as needed.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods.
Willingness to learn and cross-train in related functions.
