Position Summary:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the overall attainment of goals and objectives and financial performance of the branches within their assigned region. This individual is also responsible for ensuring the optimum efficiency, effectiveness, and full regulatory compliance of all branches and branch administration in their region.

He or she promotes our sales and service culture through coaching and staff motivation. The Regional Manager leads in achieving individual, branch, regional and bank-wide goals through new business development, referrals, and retention of account relationships. He or she serves as an ambassador of our bank's mission, vision and values. The Regional Manager provides leadership, accountability, encouragement and training to Market Managers and teams in the pursuit of our bank's core values.

This position is responsible for First Bank's Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania Region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Regional Branch Supervision

a. Meet and exceed assigned business development and financial goals for the region.

b. Optimized performance of Market Managers through effective coaching, development, and leadership

c. Assist in the overall sales efforts for the market.

d. Participate in company strategy and planning to increase regional business

e. Manage special projects and help the Bank accurately assess customer response to various ideas and initiatives.

f. Ensure that proper customer service levels are maintained for the region.

g. Collaborate with other bank departments within the region to develop and execute on a growth strategy to achieve First Bank goals and objectives.

h. Ensure timely completion of scheduled compliance, new hire and additionally assigned training within the market area.

i. Ensure branches operate within established First Bank policies and procedures.

j. Ensure branches receive passing/acceptable audit ratings.

k. Responsible for adherence to First Bank code of conduct and ethics policies.

2. Individual Business Development

a. Meet and exceed assigned individual business development goals.

b. Expand customer relationships to increase the number of products and services received from the Bank.

c. Develop new deposit and loan business to achieve individual sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships.

3. Community Leadership

a. Represent First Bank as needed in the community through serving on boards and attending key events in market.

b. Ensure active participation of team in events and activities to ensure First Bank is compliant with CRA standards representative of a “Satisfactory to Outstanding” bank rating.

c. Participate in community affairs and join local organizations to increase the Bank's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities.

4. Compliance and Operational Excellence

a. Accountable to ensure First Bank standards of operational excellence are maintained by sales teams.

b. Ensure timely completion of scheduled compliance, new hire and additionally assigned training within market.

c. Ensure sales team members operate within established First Bank policies and procedures.

d. Responsible for adherence to First Bank code of conduct and ethics policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years in a retail sales/service environment
  • 3 - 5 years management/supervisory experience
  • Multi branch experience needed
  • Bank experience preferred
