Job Summary: 

The Lead Line Cook plays a vital role in our kitchen, responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes while supervising other kitchen staff.

Job Responsibilities:

· Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.

· Oversee and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation and cooking techniques.

· Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly.

· Ensure all dishes are plated and presented to the restaurant’s high standards before they leave the kitchen.

· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations, and enforcing strict hygiene practices.

· Address any kitchen issues or concerns promptly to maintain smooth operations.

· Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by working well with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Requirements:

  

Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

· Baking experience preferred

Physical Requirement

· Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

· Standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
