SUMMARY
The Media Operations Associate (Social) is responsible for providing channel support, while working as a subject matter expert in Paid Social. They lead the reporting, optimization, budgeting, and setup of media campaigns and provide mentorship to the Media Operations Coordinators.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
- Responsible for account onboarding in various platforms (i.e., TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit etc.).
- Identify and troubleshoot client account issues.
- Support Strategy and Client Service teams in planning and research, tactical plans, and vendor discussions.
- Oversee media campaign reporting, optimization, and budgeting with internal team or external partners.
- Responsible for campaign setup for tracking purposes including linking Google Analytics, Pixels, and Conversions.
- Accurately execute media buys and participate in vendor negotiations.
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure monthly media invoices are accurate.
- Active participation in campaign-based process improvement.
- Provide media solutions for client requests and POVs.
- Train and mentor coordinators in all areas of media operations.
- Contribute to the organizations communication efforts when required (i.e., case studies, blog posts, content, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in a media operations role, focused in Paid Social Media, Influencer Marketing, and/or Custom Content preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint & Teams).
- Certifications specific to traditional and/or digital media (i.e., Meta Blueprint).
- Experience with research and measurement tools (i.e., MTM, Arima, Vividata, ComScore, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Knowledge of Media Ocean or similar product(s) considered an asset.
