Key Responsibilities
Design, Estimating, Engineering and PermittingReview Contract requirements, Existing engineering drawings, Roof reports and other technical reports to ensure proper system design meets code and client requirementsWork with sales rep to develop job estimates, perform site take offs, get vendor and subcontractor quotes as neededWork with Construction Managers to review design requirements and plan for construction and installationSubmission and Coordination for Permits/Engineering Drawings as needed * Procurement and Subcontractor ManagementWork with suppliers to develop price lists and negotiate pricingPerform procurement for all materials and equipmentCoordinate shipments and stocking of inventory as neededDevelop and send out bid requests to Engineers and Subcontractors, evaluating the responses to award contracts based on price, value, experience, customer service, etc. and manage vendor relations * ConstructionOversee all installation efforts and provide direction for Construction Managers to ensure project is built on schedule and within budgetProactively ensure operations team has necessary tools, equipment and material to perform workRepresent company in project meetings and client negotiationsEnsure all Project documentation and client deliverables are obtained and filed properly.Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, safety requirements etc., are adhered to.AccountingManage financial aspects of projects including, Client Billings, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, invoicing and cash flow forecasts.Assume additional responsibilities as directed
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
Bachelro’s Degree or equivalent or extensive experience in Commercial HVAC industry preferred.
Experience
Over 4 years in the HVAC industry with technical hands-on experience2 plus years project management experience preferred
