This Opportunity

  • The welder plays a critical role in ensuring our ASME pressure vessels exceed all applicable quality standards. We are looking for welders with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to join a strong team. The welder performs advanced tasks and often works independently on complex projects. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components: Using advanced welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  • Interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schematics: Determining the appropriate welding process for each project
  • Inspecting completed welds: Ensuring structural soundness and compliance with safety standards
  • Setting up and maintaining welding equipment: Preparing materials and setting up welding devices or robots
  • Handling and applying welding flux materials: Performing all types and phases of welding work
  • Training and mentoring junior welders: Sharing expertise and ensuring adherence to safety protocols

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in welding is preferred
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, knowledge of metallurgy, material properties, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Welding test will be administered
  • 7+ years of welding experience
  • 5+ years of experience with MIG, TIG and/or Sub Arc welding
  • Ability to work without supervision while also working within larger team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Salary Information

$32.0 - $38.0 Hourly Wage
