💲 Pay Rate: $16.25/hour | Hours: 35 per week

Are you dependable, take pride in your work, and enjoy working outdoors? Join our dedicated team as a Rest Area Maintenance Worker and help us keep New Mexico’s rest areas clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers!
In this role, you'll perform janitorial and groundskeeping duties, help maintain public facilities and support a mission-driven organization committed to excellence and inclusion.
🧹 Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Clean and maintain restrooms, buildings, and surrounding grounds
Restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
Ensure public areas are safe, clean, and inviting
Assist travelers when needed with professionalism and courtesy
Report any repair or maintenance needs promptly
Collaborate and communicate openly with your supervisor and team
Participate in special projects and team meetings
🧰 What You Bring to the Team:
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license
Background check and motor vehicle record check required
Ability to follow directions, work independently and in a team
Friendly, dependable, and eager to help
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Strong organizational skills and basic computer knowledge
💡 Preferred but Not Required:
Knowledge of basic building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Bilingual abilities are a bonus!
