Summary

Provides professional level counseling work in treatment of clients and

provides referral and follow-up services. Compiles case histories, evaluates client needs, and presents findings to treatment team. Attend or participate in seminars and

community group.


Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapeutic and educational group sessions
  • Conduct insurance utilization reviews as needed
  • Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support client treatment goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Relevant licensure, LPC or LCSW
  • Experience in substance use or mental health treatment settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Availability to work weekends is required
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Frequent operation of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to move about the office and occasionally to other locations for meetings, trainings, or outreach.
  • Communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by phone, including the ability to convey information and respond to questions.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Work is generally performed in an office or counseling environment.
  • Periodic exposure to emotional situations or crisis intervention scenarios.
  • Frequent contact with clients, staff, and external partners.
  • Standard office hours with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
