About this position
Description:
As an Enhancement Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day execution of enhancement and install work, focusing primarily on plant installations, softscape improvements, and related site enhancements.
- Manage and oversee enhancement and install projects, including planting, mulching, sod, bed renovations, and light excavation
- Lead and support foremen and crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure crews have the materials and equipment needed
- Execute and oversee planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and sod
- Coordinate with Branch leadership to prioritize work and manage workload
- Monitor job progress, quality, and productivity while addressing issues in real time
- Ensure jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
- Enforce safety policies, PPE compliance, and best practices across all crews
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with clients, account managers, and internal teams
What You Bring to the Table
- 2–5+ years of experience in landscape enhancements, installs, or softscape-focused work
- Previous leadership experience as a foreman, lead technician, or crew leader
- Strong working knowledge of planting practices, soil prep, grading, and softscape installation
- Ability to operate and oversee the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow schedules, budgets, and company processes
- Comfortable using a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States
Work Conditions
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday
- Regular work around equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Outdoor work in varying conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Flexible work hours, including occasional weekends
- Landscaping is seasonal; during slower periods, support of other departments may be required
