Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Oversee and manage staff, including drivers, movers, and warehouse personnel. Provide training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure team productivity and cohesion.
Logistics Coordination: Plan, schedule, and dispatch crews for residential and commercial moves. Ensure efficient routes, timely deliveries, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and solutions-oriented. Maintain strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of moving equipment, vehicles, and supplies. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing the operations budget. Monitor expenses and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety protocols, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and insurance requirements.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational costs. Provide regular reports to senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and the successful completion of moves.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in the moving, transportation, or similar industry.

Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and inventory management.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (e.g., scheduling, tracking, and reporting tools).
