We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You’ll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally.Compensation:
$66,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:- Build and manage a diverse client base by providing personalized insurance solutions
- Educate clients on coverage options, ensuring policies align with their needs
- Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Participate in, sponsor, or volunteer for community events that align with our values
- Stay informed about industry developments and ensure compliance with regulations
- Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive
- 5+ years in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience a plus
- A background or familiarity with farming or agriculture is a plus
- Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Insurance and sales experience a plus

In 2024, Western Community Insurance—Farm Bureau Mutual started offering insurance products in the state of Washington.
