Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Sr. Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate storage, picking, and shipping of finished goods in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment and possess the skills necessary to operate various types of equipment, manage inventory, address customer demand, and promote continuous improvement to meet internal and external standards and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a small team (1-2) of warehouse specialists to maintain productivity. Work directly with other departments to ensure needs are understood and standards are met. 

- Manage staffing levels to account for changing demand levels and priorities. 

- Implement new processes to ensure specific orders are prioritized to meet specific program KPIs. 

- Work interdepartmentally to uncover root cause issues and address them with staff. Escalate any issues that are not easily resolved. 

- Utilize warehouse management systems, including manufacturing ERP systems, to track inventory levels, perform job order entries, monitor order fulfillment, and optimize storage space.

- Conduct order picking and packing of products in a timely and accurate manner.

- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move products throughout the warehouse and onto trailers.

- Coordinate deliveries, receiving, and stocking for all incoming goods. Load and unload trailers and ensure that products are properly secured for transportation.

- Keep all physical records organized for easy reference.

- Verify the accuracy of all incoming shipments as it relates to Purchase orders. Contacting buyers to verify information accuracy.

- Perform basic math calculations to verify inventory levels, calculate weights and dimensions, and determine shipping costs.

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

- Participate in inventory management and control processes to minimize stockouts and overstocking.

- Learn, update, and optimize SOPs.

- Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, with the ability to train cross-functionally to assist other departments.

Requirements:

Experience:
Applicants should have significant prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and have a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Experience with order fulfillment and warehouse management systems (Kanban, JIT, FIFO) as well as manufacturing ERP systems is required. Additionally, proficiency in operating pallet jacks, stand-up lifts, and other heavy machinery is necessary.

Additionally, knowledge of good manufacturing principles and practices to meet quality standards for services is expected, along with attention to detail, focusing on part number verification and transaction integrity.

Required Education and Experience:

- High school graduate/GED

- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

- 2-3 years of leadership in a warehouse environment

- Prior certification on either standup or seated forklifts.



Salary Information

$26.00 - $30.00 Hourly Wage
