Join the Florida Pain Physicians team and help deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical setting. You’ll assist providers with interventional pain treatments (including fluoroscopy/C-Arm procedures), help prepare patients for exams and procedures, and support clinical and administrative tasks that enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate C-Arm imaging equipment and assist physicians during interventional pain procedures  
  • Prepare clinical areas, ensure proper sterilization, and maintain readiness for procedures  
  • Take patient vital signs, collect medical histories, and assist with patient preparation  
  • Support patient care including check-in/check-out and documentation of clinical information  
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling and medical record maintenance  
  • Ensure proper safety protocols for C-Arm and other clinical equipment  
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and privacy standards, including HIPAA  
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to support efficient, high-quality patient care

Requirements:

 Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited college or vocational institution.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
  • eCW experience preferred.
  • Required to pass a Level II background screening.

Performance Requirements:

  • Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.
  • Knowledge of specific assisting tasks related to particular medical practice.
  • Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families.
  • Skill in performing medical assistance tasks appropriately.
