Summary 

The WomanWoRX Medical Receptionist & Exercise Specialist is a hybrid, patient-facing role that blends exceptional front-desk medical reception responsibilities with hands-on exercise specialist support. This position plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and highly organized experience for all guests and patients while also delivering high-quality exercise programming within WomanWoRX’s collaborative care model.

WomanWoRX is a division of Minnesota Women’s Care and offers a unique integrative wellness environment that combines chiropractic care, physical therapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, nurse practitioners, and fitness services. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered healthcare and wellness setting and enjoys both administrative and movement-based work.


Medical Receptionist Responsibilities

· Meet and greet all guests and patients in a warm, professional manner

· Facilitate engaging and efficient check-in and check-out experiences

· Answer and manage incoming phone calls for WomanWoRX

· Respond to patient inquiries via phone and web platforms

· Schedule appointments and coordinate care within collaborative treatment plans

· Handle provider referrals and information transfer

· Collect payments and set up automatic payment plans

· Educate patients on memberships, packages, and service offerings

· Manage inbound and outbound membership opportunities

· Maintain accurate documentation and communication within patient records


Exercise Specialist Responsibilities

· Work closely with chiropractors, physical therapists, and other providers to support collaborative care plans

· Lead, track, and maintain remote monitoring of exercise and physical therapy plans

· Lead, track and monitor, chiropractic exercise therapy

· Conduct one-on-one exercise sessions and strength training with patients, both in person and virtually

· Write and develop programming for fitness classes, workshops, and specialized programs

· Research exercise science best practices and develop new offerings to enhance patient experience

· Promote WomanWoRX services and the benefits of collaborative care

· Assist with product and program development in collaboration with the Operations Manager

· Troubleshoot issues independently while collaborating with team members when appropriate


  



Requirements:

 

Essential Functions & Qualifications

· Degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field OR a minimum of ten years of fitness training experience

· Punctuality and adherence to schedule are required

· Positive attitude and passion for health, wellness, and patient-centered care

· Strong customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills

· Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

· Prior experience in a healthcare facility and/or fitness or wellness studio preferred

· Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

· Knowledge of health insurance policies and how benefits apply to patients

Salary Information

$24.00 - $26.00 Hourly Wage
