About this position
Description:
- Inspect surface preparation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Perform environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, dew point, etc.).
- Conduct coating inspections during application and curing stages.
- Complete accurate and detailed documentation and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with coating specifications, safety guidelines, and site requirements.
- Adhere to all GTPP site safety and procedural requirements.
Requirements:
- Active NACE Level 1 or Level 2 Coatings Inspector Certification (required).
- 2+ years of experience as a NACE coatings inspector.
- Strong understanding of coating systems and inspection methods.
- Proficiency using standard inspection tools (DFT gauges, profile gauges, adhesion testers, etc.).
- Ability to write clear and detailed technical reports.
- Physically able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions.
Preferred:
- Experience working in industrial, petrochemical, or similar facility environments.
- Familiarity with GTPP site processes or requirements.
